In order to be able to easily thread the curtain into the curtain run, you need the curtain lock. You first mount this on one end of the aluminum profile before you click in the curtain rail.
You need one curtain lock per system / curtain run.
Without a curtain lock, the curtain gliders must be threaded into the curtain run before assembly. Removing the curtain, e.g. to wash it, becomes cumbersome.
