LED Profilelement
It all started when I couldn't find suitable solutions for installing LED strips in my drywall construction projects.
So I decided to develop profiles myself. I was guided by the maxim of creating a platform for architects, interior designers and lighting planners that would give them complete freedom of design. In addition, fabricators should be able to implement these ideas without any problems. Environmental aspects also play a major role. This resulted in the first profiles for indirect lighting that can be invisibly integrated into the building structure.
In 2011, the time had come: the dry construction company "DER MEIER", founded in 1995, became LED Profilelement GmbH.
For these first profiles, we received the gold medal at the iENA 2011 for the invention of flush profiles and innovation in drywall construction. This was followed in 2012 by the Bavarian State Prize for special technical achievements in the trade at the IHM. Further prizes and awards followed.
The product portfolio has been continuously developed so that we are now able to offer comprehensive solutions. Starting with profiles for indirect and direct lighting, recessed spotlights and the DL series DIRECT LIGHT: plasterboard panels with integrated aluminum profile for lighting and curtain rails.
The entire lighting technology, such as LED strips with accessories and controls, is also included in the scope of delivery.
In addition, we have developed and expanded our training courses, such as practical, lighting and soldering training and the "Qualified electrician for specified tasks" seminar.
This enables the craftsmen to complete their projects themselves and work across all trades.
